Benton County - Veterans Affairs

Toni Parizek, Director

The office will be working out of Belle Plaine the first Wednesday of every month.  I will be in the Council Chambers of City Hall from 9am-3:30pm. For the month of January I will be in Belle Plaine on 8 January 2020 as the first is a Holiday.

Benton County Commission of Veteran Affairs is partnering with numerous community groups to put on a Veterans Stand Down on 4 April 2020 at the Vinton-Shellsburg High School from 8-Noon.  There will be numerous resources available to help Veterans with a wide range of needs or just to answer some general questions, we would love to see you there!  Please RSVP with Lynette at 641.751.8557. Transportation is available if needed, please call Lynette at the number listed above.

The Benton County Veterans Affairs Office hours are 8am-4:30pm.  Walk-Ins are always welcome, although it is encouraged to make an appointment to ensure that I am in the office and not elsewhere assisting another Veteran.
