Benton County - Veterans Affairs

Toni Parizek, Director

The Benton County Commission of Veterans Affairs is looking for a new Commissioner.  The Commission meets once a month to approve the Director's bills and to discuss ways to help County Veterans experiencing difficult financial situations.  Commissioners also appear at various Public Relations events throughout the year.  Please contact Toni Parizek to apply.

Our office has MOVED, we are now located at the old West School Building in Vinton at 811 D Ave.  Our phone number, email and fax have remained the same.

The office will be working out of Belle Plaine the first Wednesday of every month.  I will be in the Council Chambers of City Hall from 9am-3:30pm.

We have Vietnam Veterans Books commemorating the 50th Anniversary.  These complimentary books are for any Veteran who resides in Benton County that was active duty during Vietnam.  Please bring your DD214 to the office to receive your book and "Thank You" for your service.
